Welcome to the new websites of the autocamp in Železná Ruda!

The autocamp in Železná Ruda went through a general reconstruction in 2006 to provide our customers a moderate stay in Šumava in summer and winter and to offer at the same time a corresponding assortment of service while keeping reasonable prices for a wide public.

In the autocamp our customers will find one of the cheapest accommodation in Šumava – in small cottages, tents or caravans. In the autocamp there is a smaller restaurant with a possibility of fast food, WC and showers, a caravan area, an electric junction, a multifunctional clay playground and so on. One of the advantages of the autocamp lies in its easy access, it is located along the road I/27 very close to Železná Ruda and less than 4 km from the border with Germany.

Železná Ruda pertains to the border shared with the town of Bayerisch Eisenstein situated nearby, they create the greatest centre of summer and winter sports and games in Šumava and the Bavarian Forest. In summer in the autocamp you can have a pleasant rest or devote yourself to hiking, cycling, picking up mushrooms, having a bath, ball games, etc. In winter you can visit lots of ski centres in Železná Ruda and Špičák or use maintained cross country skiing tracks in near-by surroundings. The autocamp is suitable for families with children, for organizing collective trainings, sports teachings, seminars, etc., in summer and winter.
